bayu setyaning | Ceo (Founder)

Bayu has been in the renewable energy industry since 2008. Her experiences include operational management of various renewable energy specific businesses, project logistics from importing to remote location equipment and human resources mobilization, and project management of on-grid, off-grid, and consulting projects. She has a broad knowledge of renewable energy technologies enabling her to effectively manage the company and the projects with a full understanding of the requirements. Having been personally involved in many rural community projects, and her own motherly instincts. Bayu has personal interest and passion to empower the community members in rural areas.

Andre Susanto | CTO (Founder)

Andre Susanto has over a decade of various engineering design, testing and management experience spanning work in the United States, Tajikistan, Australia, Japan, and South East Asia including Indonesia. He has designed and implemented various off-grid solar PV systems across the Asia Pacific regions.  He has lead teams to inspect and surveyed about 500 rural communities as well as design and implement mini grid systems.  Understanding the unmet needs for rural development projects, Andre founded the company to address the issues to ensure sustainable projects involving rural communities.

trio aditia | Project manager

Trio has implemented microgrid projects in Papua and developed potential business models for battery charging rental systems for rural communities.  With an IT background, Trio has managed the operations of smart meters and remote monitoring units across various regions in Indonesia. Trio has been managing Inovasi’s various projects since 2017 and have worked with the founders of Inovasi since 2014.

afifah eleksiani | team leader

Within the past year, Afifah has visited more than 20 villages in remote areas including Maluku, South Sulawesi, and Riau Islands to perform comprehensive field survey and data analysis.  She also assists local communities to develop proposals for potential assistances and connecting them with broader stakeholders and networks.  She also oversees, directs and monitors work flow of assigned field engineers on site. 

Afifah obtained her master degree from University of Sheffield, majoring in Environmental and Energy Engineering.

REGIF ASRI | PROJECT ENGINEER

Regif has a range expertise from technical inspection to community empowerment. He had been living in Tanjung Hutan village, Riau Islands, for 2 years, engaged the local community with regard to the development of off-grid solar power plant. Besides delivering technical assistance, he successfully founded village-owned enterprise “BUMDesa Bunga Tanjung” as the off-taker of the village power plant asset. He still supervises the BUMDesa to expand its business unit and develop Tanjung Hutan to be ecotourism village. 

Regif holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hasanuddin University.

AKI SUHARTONO | PROJECT ENGINEER

Suhartono received his Bachelor degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada, majoring in Physics Engineering. He has extensive experience in performing field survey in many communities for various purposes: electricity, health, and economic development. He lived with local communities in Mentawai Island and Papua for one year under Patriot Energi hosted by Ministry of Energy, to manage village solar PV facilities and empower the community productive activities.

Other than his technical and local engagement competencies, Suhartono also enjoys photography and making videos from his journeys and survey activities.

Ayu Dhiya | APPLICATION ENGINEER

Ayu graduated from Hassanudin University majoring Informatics Engineering. 

Utilizing her IT skills, she supports Inovasi’s core activities by developing a mobile-based smart application as a tool for remote field survey and assessment, allowing comprehensive data collection and analysis, to explore opportunities addressing local needs, particularly related to basic infrastructure provision (ie electricity, telecommunication, etc). This apps tool is designated not only for field surveyors, but also for the public to facilitate crowdsourcing difficult to obtain data.

FREDDY | CIVIL ENGINEER

With his civil engineering background, Freddy has solid work experiences in project management and community facilitation. He has been supervising civil construction works for nearly 15 years and was a community facilitator under the Indonesian Government's National Program for Community Empowerment (PNPM) program for 6 years. 

With PT Inovasi, his responsibilities are related to civil works, from reviewing budget plan and design to on-site supervisory.  He is also active in PT Inovasi’s stakeholders engagement activities and consolidating Indonesian electrification and renewable energy data from various sources in a user friendly format.
